Possibly not the most secure solution but in my case I got a VM and want to autologin to a user on bootup of the Windows 10 TP (Technical Preview). Here is how to do that. 1) Click on “Start” and in the search box type in “netplwiz“ should appear, which you click. 2) In the User Accounts Dialog Box untick “Users must enter a username and password to use this computer. On clicking OK you will be asked to provide the username and password for the account to be auto logged in on reboot. After one of the recent Windows 10 TP (Technical Preview) updates (I have now build 9879), Teamviewer remote connection stopped working and is either showing only a black screen or giving an error: “The screen cannot be captured at the moment. This is probably due to fast user switching or a disconnected/minimized Remote Desktop session.” This seems to be due to a temporary issue between Windows 10 and Teamviewer service. As a workaround do the following: 1) Open the “Start button” and use the search function to search for regedit and start it. When asked if you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer, click “YES” 2) In Regedit go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> WOW6432NODE -> TEAMVIEWER Right click and create a new DWORD (32-bit) Value Replace “New Value #1” with “DisableDuplicationAPI”   (both without the ” Double Quotes” ) 3) Double click the new […]
